D#7, HW#1, Reading

This reading assignment was about the use of visuals:

1. Lists such as this one.
   
2. Graphs for important statistics.
   
3. Charts to show how things are related.
   
4. Pictures that capture the feel of your paper.

I also learned that they should be used sparingly as most of the time they act as a distraction to the reader and do not often add much content. I am not sure if I will use any in my writing yet but if I do I will keep these important lessons in mind.
