D#5, HW#4, Bibliographies

Elkin, A (Sept. 29, 1999). Stress Management for Dummies. Foster City, CA: IDG Books Worldwide.

I am not sure if any of you have ever used a for dummies book, but they are more help than than sound like they would be. While I do not have this book after reading reviews and a few sample pages at amazon.com I think it does give some very easy to do and useful ways of managing stress.

Whitman, N. A., Spendlove, D. C., Clark, C. H. (1984) Student Stress: Effects and Solutions. ASHE-ERIC Higher Education Research Report No. 2. Washington, DC. John Wiley & Sons.

Even though this book is older, it shows that people have recognized that students are under a unique type of stress for a long time, it makes me wonder why or if it has evolved to violence.

Wheeler, C. (2007). 10 Simple Solutions to Stress: How to Tame Tension and Start Controlling your Life. Oakland, CA. New Harbinger Publications, Inc.

This las book looks interesting because again easy solutions are what everyone needs in a fast paced life.
