D#2, HW#3, Reflections

As I think back, knowing now that all decisions are based on research, I realize I have done a lot of research in my life. As for actual applications of research last semester (summer I) I took english 101 and we had to do a few assignments that required me to research the subject matter. I did not use any of my new found techniques but looking back they would have made things a lot easier and a lot more organized. I look forward to putting these new skills to use in this class and hope things will go more smoothly.
1. The Research project was for school, I had an essay due the topic was speed limits in montana, the question was did not having speed limits cause more accidents, or were there more after they implemented speed limits.
2. For the most part I conducted the research alone though I did reference my father for some of the history on Montana's roads as he lived there most his life.
3. As for getting answers to my problem I checked web sites set up by Montana state highway patrol for statistics on before during and after Montana's brief period of no speed limits.
4. The conclusion I came to was Montana was a lot safer place to drive when they had no speed limit as fatal accidents almost doubled in the years after they implemented a speed limit.
5. I was very satisfied with my answer as it did coincide with other places such as the Autobahn in Germany that also have safer driving records even with the excessive speeds.
